Who We Are
749pub is a Philippine-focused online gaming platform built with one straightforward purpose: give Filipino players a home they can trust. Not a platform that treats the Philippines as a secondary market with localised payment methods bolted on as an afterthought — but a platform designed from the ground up with GCash-first deposits, Tagalog-speaking support, and a game library built around what Filipino players actually play.
The platform launched in 2020 and has grown steadily to serve players across all 81 provinces of the Philippines — from Metro Manila to Mindanao, from Cebu City to General Santos, from Ilocos Norte to Tawi-Tawi. Whether you're playing Tongits on your lunch break in a Davao sari-sari store or betting on a PBA game from your condo in BGC, 749pub was built for that exact moment and that exact user.
We hold a valid operating license under the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), which means every game on the platform is regulated, every result is independently audited, and player funds are protected under Philippine law. This isn't a grey-area operation — 749pub is a fully legal, fully regulated online gaming platform, and that matters for every peso you put in and every peso you take out.
Our Story
From a simple idea to one of the Philippines' most trusted gaming platforms — here's how 749pub got here.
The Idea Takes Shape
A small team of Filipino tech and gaming professionals recognized that local players were being underserved by generic international platforms. The idea: build something genuinely local — GCash-first, Filipino-language support, games that Filipino players grew up with.
749pub Launches
749pub opens to Philippine players with an initial library of Baccarat, Tongits, and Basketball Betting. PAGCOR licensing secured before launch — not as an afterthought. First GCash deposit processed within hours of going live.
Expansion Across Game Categories
Bingo, Virtual Sports, and the first Esports Betting markets added as 749pub responds to the growing Filipino esports community. Mobile Legends and DOTA 2 coverage launches — two of the most-watched esports titles in the Philippines.
100,000 Players Milestone
749pub crosses 100,000 registered users. Weekly tournament formats launched for Tongits, with prize pools hitting ₱50,000 guaranteed for the first time. Tagalog-language live support goes 24/7.
VIP Program & Mobile Optimisation
The 5-tier VIP loyalty program launches alongside a full mobile-first redesign. Maya and GrabPay added alongside GCash. Withdrawal processing time reduced to under 5 minutes for all Philippine e-wallets.
500,000+ Players and Growing
749pub now serves over half a million registered Filipino players. Ongoing improvements to live odds, in-play esports markets, and the weekly promotions calendar. More game categories in development for 2025.
Why the Name 749pub?
The name combines a number sequence that carries meaning in Filipino gaming culture with "pub" — a nod to the community spaces where Filipinos have always gathered to play games, watch sports, and enjoy friendly competition. 749pub is the online version of that gathering place: a space where you can play the games you know, with the people and payment methods you trust, from wherever you are in the Philippines.
We deliberately kept the brand name short and memorable — something that would stick whether you're sharing the link in a group chat or telling a friend about it over lunch. Five years in, it seems to have worked.
What Makes 749pub Different
There are other online gaming platforms in the Philippines. Here's what sets 749pub apart from the rest.
PAGCOR Licensed & Regulated
749pub operates under a valid PAGCOR license — which means every game is independently audited, every payout is regulated, and your player funds are protected by Philippine law. You're not playing on a grey-market site with no accountability. Regulatory compliance isn't a box we ticked once — it's an ongoing operational standard.
GCash-First Payments, Zero Fees
GCash is the default — not a secondary option. Most 749pub transactions happen via GCash, and withdrawals process in under 5 minutes with zero fees. Maya, GrabPay, InstaPay, and all major Philippine banks are also supported. Every payment option on the platform was chosen specifically because Filipino players use it.
Games Filipinos Actually Play
Tongits isn't a novelty offering squeezed in between hundreds of slot games — at 749pub it's a flagship product with its own live rooms, weekly tournaments, and dedicated player community. The whole game library was built around what Filipino players want: Baccarat, Basketball Betting, Bingo, Tongits, Virtual Sports, and Esports Betting on MLBB and DOTA 2.
Tagalog Support, 24/7
749pub's customer support team speaks Filipino. Not just English with a note saying "Filipino available on request" — actual native-speaker Tagalog support, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via live chat. Whether you have a question about a bonus, a withdrawal, or how a specific game works, you'll get a clear answer in a language you're fully comfortable in.
Built for the Philippine Mobile Experience
The 749pub platform was designed for mobile first — specifically for the Android devices and mobile data speeds that most Filipino players use daily. No app download required. The platform works smoothly on a mid-range Android phone over 4G. Bet on an MLBB match, play Tongits, and cash out to GCash all from the same device without switching apps.
Promotions Built Around Filipino Life
The Payday Reload bonus isn't accidental — it was designed because Filipino workers get paid on the 15th and 30th of the month. The weekly Tongits tournament is on Sunday because that's when Filipinos have time to sit down for a proper session. 749pub promotions are built around real Filipino life, not generic international gambling calendars.
Our Values
The principles that guide how 749pub operates, every day.
Transparency First
No hidden fees, no impossible bonus terms, no fine print engineered to prevent payouts. Every promotion at 749pub has wagering requirements that are clearly stated and actually achievable. If something changes, players are notified directly — not buried in a terms update nobody reads.
Community Over Volume
749pub measures success by whether players keep coming back by choice — not by how much is spent in a first session. A platform that creates loyal, long-term players is worth more than one that burns through users with unsustainable promotions. We play a long game.
Responsible Gaming is Not Optional
Responsible gaming tools — deposit limits, session reminders, self-exclusion — are built into the platform as standard features, not hidden away. 749pub actively encourages players to use them. We'd rather have a player step back for a week than develop a gambling problem on our platform.
Speed and Reliability
Players who win should get their money fast. 749pub treats withdrawal speed as a core product metric, not an afterthought. Sub-5-minute GCash withdrawals are a standard we hold ourselves to daily — not a marketing claim we make once and forget about.
Games on 749pub
All games use a single 749pub wallet — no separate accounts or balances needed. Switch between Tongits and Basketball Betting without re-depositing.
749pub and the Filipino Gaming Community
Gaming has always been a social activity in the Philippines. Long before online platforms existed, Filipinos were playing Tongits after dinner, placing friendly bets on PBA games, and gathering around whatever screen was available when big events were on. The games themselves are almost secondary to the communal experience — the excitement, the friendly competition, the stories that come out of a good session.
749pub tries to preserve that social dimension online. Live Tongits rooms have in-game chat that naturally runs in a mix of English and Filipino. Regular players in the Classic and Mid-Stakes rooms recognise each other across sessions. The weekly Sunday tournament creates a recurring event that players plan around — the same way you'd plan around a regular barkada game night. The community that has formed around 749pub is something we take a lot of pride in.
The esports community is a big part of who 749pub serves. MPL Philippines has millions of Filipino viewers — players who watch every weekend broadcast, follow team rosters through mid-season transfers, and debate match results with the same passion that older generations debate PBA statistics. 749pub built its esports betting section for exactly that audience, with live in-play odds for MLBB, DOTA 2, Valorant, and CS2 that update in near real-time during broadcasts.
We're also aware that 749pub operates in a sensitive space. Online gambling carries real risks for a subset of players, and we take that seriously. Our responsible gaming framework isn't a checkbox — it includes deposit limits that players can set themselves, automatic session time reminders, a self-exclusion tool that works immediately, and a 24/7 support team trained to recognise and help players who may be experiencing problem gambling behaviours.
We actively work to ensure 749pub is used as entertainment — a way to make watching an MPL match more exciting, a reason to actually sit down and play Tongits with real stakes, a platform where you can enjoy the games you love with the chance to win real money. That's the experience we're building toward, and every product decision we make is evaluated against that standard.
The Philippines has one of the fastest-growing online gaming markets in Southeast Asia, and 749pub intends to grow alongside it — responsibly, sustainably, and with Filipino players at the centre of every decision. We're grateful for every player who has made 749pub their platform of choice, and we're committed to earning that trust every day.
